![]() I'd still recommend it to anyone who wants something that can provide some basic interactive drills, but it has so much more potential than it's currently delivering on. I should probably wait until after NAMM to ask this question but hopefully Drew can provide an answer. One thing I'm curious about, however.is it still under development? It's almost two years since it was first released and it's still version 1.0.0. Rolands HD1 system incorporates their V-Drum technology into a drum kit thats more compact, less noisy and much more affordable. It also worked out of the box with my TD-4. (I was hoping for something more along the lines of Mavis Beacon's typing software as far as keeping track of your progress, analyzing your weak areas, tailoring drills automatically based on where you need work, etc.) And I was impressed that it came not only with the MIDI interface cable but also a cable to connect the audio output of your laptop to the drum module and a velcro cable tie as well. ![]() It's a little more basic than I thought it would be but still effective. I just received my copy of Roland's DT-HD1 Drum Tutor software today and am already enjoying it. ![]()
